Who we are

Nash is a public rating of poker decision quality, earned in rated human play, with a practice rating, a style fingerprint, clubs and the Coach. This page explains how Nash handles your data.

What we collect

Account: your email address if you sign in with email, Google or Apple (for Google and Apple, the name and email that provider shares). Passwords are stored hashed by our auth provider; we never see them. If you play without signing in, you get a guest passport with a public serial and no email.

Play: the hands you play and the decisions in them, your ratings and rating history, your Greeks style fingerprint, practice and drill results, club memberships, nights and RSVPs, and hands you capture or import yourself.

Safety and service: ranked-play abuse flags, Coach insights computed from your hands, a push notification token if you use the mobile app, and anonymous counts of front-door page events (no account attached).

How we use it

To run your passport, grade and rate your play, build your fingerprint and Coach insights, match you in ranked play, send sign-in emails and requested notifications, detect abuse, and keep the service working. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.

What is public

Your passport is public by design. Anyone with your serial can see your Nash, ladder position, Greeks and archetype on your profile page, its share card and our public API. Your email address and internal account ID are never public, and other players never see your hole cards before showdown.

Who processes it

Supabase: database and sign-in. Vercel: web hosting. Google Cloud: the worker that grades hands. Resend: delivers our sign-in emails, sent from nash@mail.trynash.app. Expo: delivers push notifications to the mobile app.

OpenRouter: the Coach may send short summary statistics about your play (for example, average EV lost on a street) to OpenRouter and the model provider it routes to, to phrase an insight. Your name and email are not sent. When you use the capture assistant, the text you paste is sent to OpenRouter (and the model provider it routes to) so it can be read into a hand; paste only what you are happy to share.

Apple or Google, only if you choose to sign in with them.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your passport exists. To delete it, email privacy@trynash.app from the address on your account (or tell us your serial if you are a guest). Deletion removes your account and its records, including your profile, hands, ratings and club data.

Children

Nash is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will delete the account.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date.
